does a lower cel cat like 100 make the car louder or softer?
lookin at getting 1.

The lower the cell the more airflow you get also the louder your exhaust is.
Low cell works best when matched with a large exhaust system if u wanna increase performance.

so wud a 200 or 300 cell cat quieten down the exhaust sound?
i need something to keep noise down.

Itll be quieter than the 100 cell, if you want to make your exhaust quiet get a bigger resonator or you can get a barrel type muffler.

i got 2 hot dogs already.lol also it has a barrel muffler.
car doesnt have a cat converter, its loud like a rotary. its got a flex pipe instead where the cat is meant to be. dont ask me ,got da car like that.
think i mite just get 300 or 200 cells cat.

All you need is a cat then, get a 200cell one and youll be fine.

Personally I'd go 100cel if you're going to get a hi-flow cat at all. A good one from a reputable brand will give good flow and noise/emissions filtration.

If it ends up being too loud you can always get a twin loop muffler

twinloop is good only if its mugen, if its a replica then its crap got one my self and getting rid of it!

if u were refering 2 me i got a 2.25 catback exhaust. but also lookin at gettn sum cams along with port/polish head and extractors, thats about it.
only daily car anyways.
