hey everyonee

i just got some gauges fitted to the car, just wanted to find out if 7 bar of oil pressure =100psi is pretty accurate for a jdm h22a engine went i punch it? or is it too much? on idle it sits just above 2 and as you drive it ranges anywhere in between. on cold start up it sits between 5 and 5 and half, and when u switch on the car lights, it tends to drop a bit, would anyone know why?

also water temp, for some reason it tends to creep its way upto about 90ish when going slow or in one place but manly sits at 80 when driving, once again, is this normal?

cheers

Check the specs to see what the correct pressure is... a slightly higher pressure should be fine.
Oil pressure increases as rpm increases - the oil pump is driven by the crank shaft anyway.

As for water temp, check your thermostat - may not be opening fully
