Hey, just got some rear VTIR brakes, im gonna chuck on civic, basically, what can u upgrade on em? i notice there solid rear rotors, as opposed to ventilated, are there any slotted rotors for em? an what about slightly bigger calipers...

^ mate, stop asking for rep... no ones going to give you rep if you ask for it... and i ain't going to neg rep you, but some of the things you are saying are INCORRECT...

anyway, to OP, upgrading to disks is a good idea... personally i didnt change my discs, even though my ricer side wanted slotted, be mindful that most of the braking force is distributed to the front two discs so most people tend to leave the rears. Not me, when i changed my pads to the Ferodo DS2500's i did the rears too...

My advice would be depending on your budget, do the fronts first, if you can, do all of them, but i wouldnt bother with anyhting more than matching pads for the back

Gotta aggree we get lots of people in at work buying all the bells and whistles to upgrade their cars performance and paticularly brakes ( as of late) and almost all of them come back a few days later complaining that it barely made a difference... The fact is that upgrading ur rear rotors isn't gonna make much difference for the money you'll pay but it's ur call.
