Vtir engine problem!!! Help

hey everybody could someone help me please i have noticed that everytime i stop the car at the lights my engine starts making a high pitch noise that could hear my ears and have a drive it again it stops and stop at another set of light it does it again???

any clue what it could be???

could be as simple as a pulley bearing. being that it does it when idling makes it pretty easy to diagnose, for starters pop the bonnet and have a listen. is it coming from the left side of the motor or the right, up high or down low etc... do this then let us know wat u find...
