fuel usage

my mate has a d16a8 powered CRX. recently its been gulping down the fuel and they now only get around 300k's/tank. mine gets around 450/tank. any suggestions on why this could be happening???

thats becoz ya thrash the fK outta it.....

that is a legit answer...the higher rpms usually = higher fuel consumption :rolleyes:

...perhaps , check first if the air filter is blocked/dirty - clean /replace if in bad condition.
Check spark plugs , leads , fuel filter , 02 sensor. . .

thanks for an intelligent answer ben. he's changing his plugs, leads and filters this weekend to see if it will make a difference
