How hard is it to find the little black insert window seals on both passenger and drive doors?? I have a 92 EG...
I hope you know what I am talking bout... The little cblack strip along the bottom of window. Mine is chipped and rusting.
Also I just bought my EG and the previous owner had square plates in which he must've used double sided tape and has left a sticky outline along my paint, now with my new personalised plates on there they aren't big enough to cover, how do I get it off without scratching my pearl paint job?? I have tried lightly scratching but it doesn't work.
Cheers.......

what you can do - is DIY fix it.
First , sand back the window seals with a medium grit sandpaper to remove all excess rust / paint....the idea is to get it to bare metal.
Then , use a denser grit ( more abrasive) sandpaper or scourer , to buff up the surface.
Last , tape up both sides with tape and newspapaer to protect your paint and window from spray.....get soem el cheapo matt black spraypaint...simply lightly spray the window seal in a few rounds , let to dry and spry onc again to smooth out.
"should" turn out a ncie , matte black colour :) Good luck....
i will do a DIY later in the future myself.

Only divers side it stuffed so I only have to spend $147 and not double that :)
As for the number plate problem
Any cutting compound should did it but it many take some time but its far better than any scratching you were doing

My passenger side is basically all silver... But my driver's side is cracking and I give it a month or 2 and it'll be all silver as well, it just ruins the nice effect...
If you decide that you are going to give it a go, Luke, Ben or anyone, let me know and I'll join ya, 2 heads instead of one could make it work.... :D

What happened to your foot?
The Metho won't if you use small amounts as it evaporates quite fast and might
