hi guys, i got a problem with one of my windscreen jet washer. One of them is not working for some reason. I carefully checked and all i see is a little amount of water coming out of the hole, whilst the other one is working. How can I get this fixed?
maybe the hole is blocked or something, my integra, even though isnt block kinda lags to spray the water and 1 of them sprays like 1/4 of the water onto the wiper blades instead so im assuming mine has a block or what not, im gonna try see if i can find the hoses that connect to it and see if anythings blocking it or so, it is an old car so probably likely. Iuno thats what ima try do to mine so like maybe you should try it too =) shouldnt be hard

open your bonnet, you will see the clear tube that carries the water, when the bonnet is held up by the bonnet holder? it squashes the clear tube. suss that, might be squashed when its closes too, or the hose might have leaks in it.

Its not the bonnet holder, cause he said only one is not working. If it was squashing the 2 then they'd both not work. I think its pretty clear that theres a blockage in the one thats not working. You might have to get in there and remove it to clean it out.

could be the nozzle itself, get a needle an poke it where the holes are... usually thats the culprit

just get a new tube, its like 2 dollars.
or if you have a air compressor, and needle hose, just shoot it in there.
also you better clean out the tank, its probably got fungus shit inside.

like hisoka said. i got a air compressor. put it into the wiper nozzle to see if the washer bottle would bubble. meaning to me i cleared the lines. did it a few times and some green grime thing appeared. Seems like some fungus crap clogged it.
my 2c.

follow it from the bonnet to the tank. i thought that would be the easy part so i didnt mention it

tubes dont go to the bonnet, the actual washer jets arnt located on the bonnet on a dc2. theyre under the wipers

As if you know how it works, LOL. Do me a favour, pls stop writing before you kill another useful thread
*note* to the kind OP, moderator and anyone else, dont mind my post, im just giving this guy a taste of his own medicine
Um...
Do excuse me but, you attach the needle point to the end of the air compressor hose, unplug your washer water lines from both ends of your car, run the compressed air through the line to blow out any blockages...

please dont play around with air compressors etc you may break something.
Try this - use a needle in the hole/s as suggested above. This can be enough to dislodge crud.
Also try alittle methylated spirits or other windshield cleaner mixed in with your water to keep the tubes clear and nozzles clear n clean
