Do we need to have 1-5 and R on our gear knob?

In queensland is it ilegal to not ave the 1-5 and R engraved/shown on the top of the gear knob? As im looking for a replacement but all the nice ones dont have the numbers and so on. thanks

lol they usually come with a sticker to place near the gear stick, them nice ones.

they check that when i got defected once. but i had a sticker on the side so it was coolies

oh ok so it doesnt need to be on the actual gear knob its self you just have to have the sticker placed somewhere close 2 it, thats cool then cause i quite like the brushed alloy mugen ones on ebay, and they come with the sticker thing

Yeah i'll confirm that you have to have it on the gearstick or a sticker on the console next to it.
