...and...

Theres a demo model 2001 type R im looking at. Its got 3100 km on the clock and there asking $36,000 on the road.

dude , try sell it for 10, private sale. the dealer is no doubt going to try and sell it for 11-12k.

good luck, 8k sounds way to low.

As we all know dealers rip you off by a couple of grand/hundred then add extra few grands/hundred ontop of their sale price. Its how they make money. 8k does sound low. Try to hang in there and wait for a private sale. I'm sure you can get more then the dealer offed. Secondly, beaware of demo cars. Demo cars are always thrashed the hell out of. Even at low kms. Goodluck on the sale and keep your eye out on the car.

Not always the case at all thats gerneralising most of the time you can get a awsome deal alot of them are in better condition than a second hand car from a consumer. This is because the car is usually given to the dealer and at the end of it that dealer has to sell it so its in his best interest to keep it in the best condition possible, lets face it obviously it would have been in vtec but what exactly do you call thrashing in a honda, you would be extremely lucky to pick up a R that hasn’t had a hard life.

If you buy any car at all whether it be a datsun or ferrari it would have been thrashed a bit unless it was from a collector, it’s a gamble you take when buying a used car

That sounds like a good price but have u bargained at all with them, you have got to bust there balls or they wont budge from the price. Perhaps he could offer you example 12k for your car but he knocks the other 4k off the integra type r and gets written off that he gave you 8k for yours many ways of doing it

btw. Do some research go into the dealership say what u want if he says no just walk out, dont get set on the car or you wont get a that good of a deal:thumbsup:
