Terry who drives a R32 GTR also runs a set of ADVAN NEOVA AD08 (http://advanwheels.com.au/tyres/street-race.aspx).

Here’s what he had to say :

Apexi power fc computer,

ADVAN NEOVA AD08 (http://advanwheels.com.au/tyres/street-race.aspx)

What type of driving do you do ? Street and track

Why did you choose the ADVAN NEOVA AD08 (http://advanwheels.com.au/tyres/street-race.aspx) ? I needed more grip even with 4 wheel drive

How long have you had the Tyres for ? 18 months

How does it perform on and off the track ?
Excellent, felt the improvements straight away. It made my car feel 50% better, the grip, the steering felt amazing, great turn in, and they felt so solid no tyre roll and gave me more confidence to drive car harder.
On track they are great and they lasted really well

What would you improve on the tyre if you could?
A little more mechanical grip for track days, but then they would not last on street, and I would have to go the R compounds A048 or A050 (http://advanwheels.com.au/tyres/race.aspx).

Would you buy them again?
Most definitely, best tyre i have ever used in 19 years of driving

I would love to hear more stories about your experience with Yokohama and Advan. I can’t personally tell you anything because my MR2 is still off road (shameless plug- build thread here: http://forum.jdmstyletuning.com/showthread.php?29456-aw11-sc-track-hack) .

But tell me what you guys really think of the tyres after you have spent your hard earn. Hopefully in the coming months I’ll have my own little story to tell. Only thing I can really contribute is that My first memory of Advan is seeing it on Keiichi Tsuchiya early racing days with his Trueno sideways ( im a ae86 lover)
