Petrol gauge problem

Hey guys, my petrol gauge needle keeps dipping and jumping back up, I've got a 2000 Em1. Was wondering if anyone could help me with my problem. Currently i'm rougly getting about 400km's per tank kicking it + granny shifting.

normal for all ek/ej/em, its all right when driving above half mark, but once it hits that, its very inaccurate reading below the half mark, dunno if its the floater, sensor or something else
