hey guys im new and i just got my Euro 06, i was planning on getting 20 inch wheels on it and yes i know its not legal as stock ones where 16 inch and you can only go 2 inches over but has anyone got defected having 20's or even 19's?
Thanks Marko

Feel free to correct but I believe your wheels cannot be 2 inches larger than stock including the tyre. This probably gives you a bit of lee way so you could technically put on 20" with low profile tyres. I'm not sure of the tyre size of the Euro but it probably is achievable

Interpreting that, in victoria so long as the new rolling diameter is no more than 15mm greater than the old rolling diameter it's all good.

low profile tyres ftw

Just make sure the load rating on those skinny 20 tyres is at least equal to stock as they can 'get you' there. I think 20 is too much for cl9 anyhow.

i think for qld (unless they have changed it again recently) the rules are no greater than 17mm or no smaller than 11mm, or something like that, but yeh watch the load rating as that is usually the one thing you have to forget so you can run nice low profiles. I got defected few years ago in another car and had 19s on it (stock was 15s) and the copper was real arrogant and told me i couldn't have em on there and blah blah blah, anyway, rang mods departent at qld transport and got the specs for what you can have, wrote a letter to the right person at police head office and explained all the info i had, and got the ticket reversed, my points back and my money refunded, took like a month tho to get back to me but hey, still beat it.
