Exhaust Help

hey guys, i got a euro 06 stock exhaust now and was just wondering how much a cat back system with headers will cost me?
i got a rough idea but yeh, does anyone have something similar and does it sound good and does it have any noticable performance increase?

well of course different brands are gonna cost different prices. JDM parts are gonna cost almost if not double the price of custom stuff or brands we get here in aust.
It all depends on what brand your after really. Set your self a budget look around for some brands etc etc.
For the sound it depends if you just get a cannon and stick it on then itll sound shit. If you get a proper catback then itll have a decent sound. Then again it all comes down to piping size/brands etc.
Performance wise if you get it all done Headers Cat - Catback the car will probably feel more responsive when driving?

thanks for the advice mate and deffinetly will never get a cannon, was thinking about getting 3inch and was looking to spend 1000-1200 for it all, not 100% sure what that can get me but hopefully something decent if not ill ave up for a bit longer, i dont want something crap then having to replace it later down the track

pretty sure you can get a JDM branded catback with 1k-1.2k.
Just look around ring some shops up etc.

dnt get 3".... 2.25 is probs best for ur car.. 3" will loose u power

if a B16 can go up to 2.5 then im sure 3.0 is fine on a K24

maybe 3'' if its turbo. Personally i wouldnt go bigger than 2.5 youll lose power if ya get any bigger. B16 can go to 2.5 but even thats too wide 2.25 is ideal for b16
