hey guys, just wondering if the dents below would have a significant impact on performance?

i haven't bought it yet, but its a jasma approved header for b18c

thanks

How far does the dent go? approx how many mm? looks deep from here..

at least 5mm, there are actually 2 dents, the one that stands out and a little one to its left

Shouldnt be a problem then mate. 5mm isnt great enough to affect performance. Those extractors will perform the same, just work look as good.. :)

It'll affect performance for sure...
Enough to notice, probably not.

I dont think it'll affect performance.. but imo i wouldnt buy it cause id want them to look good too lol

That shouldn't affect the performance really, my headers were much worse

instead of "4-1" mugen header, you had "2-1" basically they were flattt ahahahha

^^ lol! it defz wouldnt affect performance! not on a car like yours anyway. Id be fussy if i were doing a serious build with like big cams and shiz, but not for a daily. Even if you had a press bend exhaust it wouldnt make a difference to a mandrel bend because the increase in performance is so minimal

which car do you mean?

which car do you mean?

i think he means on a tuned engine, race engine...

but in honesty, headers should never have dints in them, its all about creating the smoothest flow path for exhaust gasses.... in theory that is lol, awhile ago, i made a CAD model with few dints in it, the flow test showed not that much resistant to the flow..... id say its ok to use, if ur thinking of serious power/tuning later on, than id reconsider those headers

my 2cents

^^^ exactly what i mean, yes, if you are planning on getting serious defz reconsider getting those headers

which car do you mean?

lawl, i didnt mean it in a bad way! should have mentioned that. i mean cars like ours, i have a jdm b16 and wont spend serious money on mods cause after spending a crap load of money ill prob get an extra 2kw. IMO unless your going for a serious build
