don't know if workshops in melb will give password over the phone,,
worse come to worse you will have to go to honda workshop and get them to get you the password
if you have log book the password should be in there

Hey I know exactly what to do. Follow this thread i made, its what happened to me
http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?141464-Stereo-locked-help!!!&p=2884637#post2884637
"Holding down the preset buttons 1 and 6 and then turning the radio on displays a 10 digit sequence of letters and numbers U8757 L3534 for example."
Ok so your headunit serial number will be a code minus the letters. So for the above example it's 87573534. If you ring Honda and give them that number they will give you the password. Unfortunately when i rang I didn't know the letters were excluded and the Honda guy said that that wasn't the serial and I would need to take the head unit out, which took a while cause I haven't done it before. Let me know if you have any problems.

same happened to me.
call up honda and tell them you need the code for you're headunit. you'll need your rego no. and possibly vin.
when it asks for the code on the headunit, enter the code that honda gives you via the 1-6 buttons on the headunit.

check your owners manual.. one of the books you get is for the headunit. on it you will have a code that you gota punch in
