DC5s Headunit - alarm?

Hey,

I'm planning on upgrading the headunit in my DC5s with a pioneer avic.

Looking at the stock headunit, i noticed that it's connected to the car alarm (immobiliser as well?), so I was wondering that if i were to change out the headunit, would there be any issues with the alarm system?

Hey, I've taken out the fuse for the car stereo and no alarm went off. I've also taken it out of it's holding although I didn't disconnect any wires. On some of the threads i've seen about replacing the HU I haven't read about the alarm going off. Someone might post here otherwise though :)
