Stock headlights are h4 and your bulbs are probably <4000k halogen.

Upgrade your speakers to components and get a couple subs.

It's a very broad question and really only depends on your actual budget. Go to jb and haggle a good deal

wtfru asking? A sub alone will make it a million times better. upgrading the HU will also work wonders

8000k refers to the colour of light. If youre looking for bulb type it's HB4. HB3 for highbeams. (not h4)

I went to Jbhifi to upgrade my sound system, got a sub, amp and installation for 400. I wasn't after too much just after more bass :D was really happy with the job they did there.

yo, quick question here, can we actually buy some sort of brackets or something to hold the rear speakers?
i have an idea, that i cut around the plastic holding oem speaker (which basically kills it)
or can i get some type of foam or filling to fill up the gap?

buy a sub from gumtree or quokka, and find a friend who knows what to do to install it.

Dude you sound like you want it done as cheaply as possible...what's ur budget? Because at the minimum you need a 10-12" sub ~$50-100 with box for a used one. An amp to power it ~$100. A wiring kit ~$60-80 you don't wanna go cheap on this. And if you are going to use a stock headunit you need a crossover cheapest I've seen is $30. Then you have to get it installed and by the sound of it you don't have any friends who know how so look to spend $150+ on labour.

So already we are looking at around $400-500 worth...can you afford it?

If you haven't already bought the loc buy it from jaycar $25. Also get the wiring from jaycar $40 for 2gauge kit. I asked them today.

A 10" alone won't have that much effect...get a 12 atleast or two 10s

sorry to hi-jack the question but i connected mine to the power antenna socket at the back. C-pillar, driver's side. blue wire as far as i can recall. will double check the diagram later when i get home.

@ OP: i just installed a "tube" subwoofer in my car - its a sub in an enclosure with an amp and complete wiring kit. costed me about $200++ (brand new on special in autobarn a couple of years ago) and a couple of hours to DIY install. i was just after a bit more bass so i installed a sub and amp only as the stock sound system lacks it. suits my needs.

If you do want to get an aftermarket head unit I have a spare Double Din Dash for the Civic. I'm actually in the process of upgrading so I'm in the process of selling my speakers, subs, amps and head unit lol.

Best thing to do is to decide on a budget and stick to it! Shop around for parts instore and online or even go second hand, though second hand is really worth it if you can do pickup..
