I'm guessing its not as simple as cutting the hole, screwing the roof in and siliconing/wiring it up? I wonder if the roof is recessed around the edges of the factory hole so it sits flush?

i reckon i'd be able to cut a good hole, especially if i got the roof from a wreckers and was able to make perfect measurements and even make a template. Would need to use a small blade on a dremmel or something to be super precise.

if u gonna do it, get a sheet metal from bunnings and trial fit it.

Yeah my mate got one put on his Breeze (now a top/bottom built B20VTEC still with drums lols).

Not an easy DIY job. Pity because the sunroof is really nice IMO I love mine in the night time :D

yea the 1 i got quoted is a webasto brand http://www.webasto.com.au/products-and-markets/car/ena/html/8215.html

shop said was biggest 1 that could fit eg hatches. the factory eg roof is like macas tray. and omfg s15 roof is even worse.

Good thing about the VTi sunroof is that it slides open into the roof, rather than on top of it.

Can you buy a VTi and just swap your parts over? lol

vti sedan roof slide in side the roof trim. vti hatches slides outside the roof panel like the link.

nothing a angle grider wont do.haha

my civic feels left out, even my lude has a roof. and fuk me its mammoth that thing. feels like a drop top.

Pretty sure you have to cut

u can have your roof un stitched, if you can find a wreckers which have a shell with the sunroof still intact cut the whole roof section and have a decent trusted panel beater un stitch from the weld points. then simply swap the whole roof over and re stitch
