Tein EDFC install

Hi Guys,

My Advans are finally shipping from the states so I need to pull my finger out and get my Monoflexes and EDFC installed. I'm looking at spots to install the EDFC controller.

I have an '03 AP1 with the glass rear so I can't put it in the coin holder in the console as I have the demister there. Double sided tape under the steering wheel doesn't appeal either.

Where else have you guys installed it?? Any in the glove box??

I mounted mine under dash passenger side, thought it would be great as it's easy to access, but reality is it's sort of a waste where it's mounted. As i rarely ever change the setting. So mounting inside the glovebox would be good idea, as it's also out of sight.

You can relocate the demister switch to the blank ahead of the steering wheel. Much better location for it anyway.

Do you know which vendor has them for sale and if the harness connector is the same as the AUS switch?

Any idea on where to buy the coin holder new also?

I got mine from the S2ki market place. Someone was selling a cluster surround and I bought the switch. Not sure about the connector as mine is custom wired.

As for coin slots, I organized group buys through Hardtopguy. If I remember correctly I have a spare left over. I'll check tomorrow.
