Lip problems..

HI BRO,:wave:

My car is a 96 EK1, i carrying 96-98 facelift font bar (NO MOULDS ON IT):p

1.)One of a friend told me that any 96-98 EK will use PRE-FACELIFT front lip.:(

2.)and one of the other friend just told me that, my Front bar has no mould on it, I should use 98-00 :eek:front lip.

Im very confused about that... Can anyone help me which one should I go for??:cool:

Your isn't called a facelift. It's simply an EJ8 front bar or EK9 prefacelift front bar. You'll still need a 96-98 front lip

Though upload some pics to confirm.

96-98 ek front bar is pre-facelift. they can have moulds (ek hatch) or no moulds (off an ej8 coupe or EK9R)

99+ models front bar are all the same, no moulds and entirely different design to prefacelift, which is why theyre called facelift bars (and why your friend incorrectly stated that you need to use a 99+ lip)

Isn't that all prefacelift bar will use "Prefacelift" Lips??

yes u need to buy 96-96 pre face lip
(also notice with 99-00 face lift front bar not only does it not have molds but the additional fog light slits on each side which you dont have)
