These look good. How do you go about using the GPS in Australia?

the cheap ones usually use a cracked verson of tomtom or other nav software with a loaded map for your area.

Hey i installed one of these chinese versions. I am not overly satisfied with the sound quality but its ok i guess. I got it for cheap so no icomplaints.

you can have a look at my one on this http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?69309-Your-Mods-To-2006-2011-FD-Civics&p=2928108&viewfull=1#post2928108 post.

I have installed: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Right-Hand-Honda-Civic-Car-GPS-Navi-System-DVD-Player-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem3f06a2efdbQQitemZ27069 4281179QQptZCarQ5fAudioQ5fVideo#shId
I can honestly say it was pretty easy to install, and I believe it has better sound quality than the standard Civic stereo. Looks awesome, plays DVd's and movies while driving, also full version of iGo GPS. Personally I think it is brilliant, although I would liek to have made some small changes to it (customisation).
Honestly, I think it was worth buying, and I love it.

$700 seems expensive. Fascia is about $150. So you have $550 to spend which can get you a pretty decent double din unit.

Yeah, your right, but I don't think you can get a double din for that price, that will do everything. ie: play DVD's, mp3, avi, GPS, Song from your phone via bluetooth and the list goes on. You might need to spend around the $800 mark.

Anyways, I'm happy with it and the interior look like it should, and it's as if the car was built with it.

Hazze, how much did this cost you to install? also do the audio controls on the steering wheel still work?

Hey mate, cost me nothing. I installed it myself. It was quite easy once I realised there were screws underneath the climate control holding the bracket it. The rest is all clips. Just be gentle and 'pop' them out.

Start from the drivers right vent, take the under side off, then the top covering the tacho, then the centre.

The steering controls still work (another reason why I bought this). You can program the steering wheel on the device so the buttons do whatever you want them to. It's awesome. As I mentioned earlier though, I would ave made some minor changes if I was the designer/manufacturer but overall it's awesome.

Let me know if you need help/instructions.
