Hey Guys,

Reading alot of threads about Koni and Bilstein shocks about people saying they are very good for road driving and firm.

However I am looking to get one of these but which im not sure, I know both are good which ones are better and why, I do appreciate personal experiances but alot of posts just say I have Koni get them i can recommend them. For me to decide I will need a bit more then that.

From my research I have come to the conclusion I am getting Eibach springs, from what i hear they are the best quaility and will last for a long time so that is sorted.

Now from my research with the shocks are limited, I know that koni yellows are adjustable but to be honest not to fussed i'm not going to be fine tuning the system with this setup. I just want good quality with firm ride but not to firm the ride becomes uncomfortable. To be honest all I need is a good quality firm ride.

I will not be purchasing coilovers I choose to go down the shock spring convo.

So which would you recommend Koni or Bilsteins or any other shocks that you would recommend.

Im open to suggestions just not coilovers :)

Cheers Guys,

Either Koni or Bilstein with Eibach springs. You wont be disappointed.BTW i have Bilstein/Eibach.Team them up with decent tyres(i have Conti Sport contact 3s) and they transform the car handling wise.

Tony loves his set up!

I've just recently teamed up the eibachs with koni yellows and love it. I haven't driven one with blisteins, but it has been put on close to the softest setting and it is comparable to stock. Great handling as well. Either way, you will enjoy it.
