i ended up caving in to curiosity- installed the header last week.
i'm quite happy with it actually!
the exhaust note has changed a bit, it's kind of burbly at the lower end of the rev range, but it seems to smooth out a fair bit once i'm in vtec. i can hear alot more noise out the exhaust after the secondaries open up...
as for the performance increase -i'll ignore seat of the pants feel- i seem to have picked up a bit on a certain white integra (you need 15's :)), so i'm glad that there has been an improvement. i'll hopefully have some time this week to take it to c&v for a power run.
the welds on the primary flange are shit, so i'll be taking it out and hitting it with a dremel sometime soon. i'll get it ceramic coated then too.

i wouldn't call it smack down ;)
but considering that it was faster than me after his header install, i'm glad to have been able to claw back to being a gnats dick quicker again.

i just realised how loud my exhaust is on the outside last night.
i think it's due in part, to the new header too. i never remember it having that high pitched 'a note before. me likey :D

it won't bolt up to a stock system... or an aftermarket system :)
modification required.
