umm any ideas what might of happened to my car guys any suggestions would help.
went to petty up my car, pumped my tyres then tried to redline but it locked up just before or at 6000rpm. went to a stop thought i missed a gear tried it again n it happened again .
redlined at 2nd was fine. helpp ...

Maybe you had a cool/cold engine? It won't rev past 6000 if it's cold.

Nah man. Ur s2k must b one of the s2k that never came with vtec.

vtec fluid must be low :). seriously though give your car a chance to warm up properly before VTECing.

could also be you didnt have petrol. at 3l remaining your car will limit your rpm.
