94 integra vti-r problem! unsure how to go about fixing it!

Hey fellas ,
my 94 integra just recently had this problem of maintenance light popping up but the car starts to shake bu also when i kick in the vtec it doesnt push and it blows out alot of smoke , i've check the oil level is perfect leveling.

maintenance light as in, CEL? (check engine light) if so don't push the car with that light displaying! lol

as dorikin said do the check for codes and let us know what it comes back with :)

Yeah I jst kicked it in once and jst wanted to see what happens it just smokes up and starts jumping , I tried the coding it's pretty hard not good with electronics but I'll give it another go
