Car is Integra 1994(DC4)
Quite a weird problem but once i start to accelerate by pushing the pedal about 15% there is a rattling noise coming from the front, which seems like something is lose. While if i push it 50-60%(pedal) there is no noise or rattling coming. Ive tried to see if anything is lose in the engine bay but i have no clue. Should i just take it to the mechanic?
Other question is i just bought some amber indicators for my integra, and they are a bit smaller to the slot they go into, which makes them come out while braking at the front, as there is only 1 screw. Any ideas on how to fasten this?
Cheers

It's pretty hard to diagnose problems online without more information, maybe try and get a video or a recording of the sound? But, if you're going to go to that much effort, you're right, you may as well take it to a mechanic.

The sound is coming as i accelerate, like a ticking noise and gets louder, but only at early stages while accelerating. After that there is no sound, only happens if i push the pedal around 15-20%. Prolly around ~2k-3krpm. Cant think of any other info to give, any suggestions?

Can you hear the sound when you're in neutral with the clutch pedal out? And if yes, does it go away when you put the clutch pedal in? If yes, then it's the input shaft bearing - which will give you a low pitched rattling sound as you slowly take off from a stationary point.

Tested all gears and sound is only emanating from near or exactly at 1500rpm. Even in neutral. Any suggestions on this??
car has also ran 180,000kms

Try what Dougie_504 said push the clutch in and see if the noise is still there

While stationary there is no noise. While moving clutching in or out there is still a rattling noise
So noise is still there when clutch is out in neutral while revving, if not revving there is no noise.
Just to clarify the sound is only when moving not stationary
Hope that makes sense his trying to find out the cause

try exhaust mounts, heatshields, joints etc etc

Yep, def try this next. Heatshields especially have a tendency to rattle

At startup the engine makes a knocking sound, didnt use too....seems to be the cause as its the similar sound. Could it be a dead spot or bottom end failing?

Your noise is most likely worn engine mounts.
and your indicator is probably easy fix with tape or custom mounts from behind on your bar

Try to get a friend to stand in front of your car with the bonnet open, while your reving your car, then ask him where the sound is coming from exactly..
That way, you can diagnose the problem properly i reckon..
