Hey guys
thinking about getting HID foggies for my 06 DC5, i know that foglights are only for adverse weather conditions, but is there any laws against HID foglights?

Don't think so, like you said 'only for adverse weather conditions'. A friend got pulled over for having foglights on and got a warning. The police weren't interested if the lights were HID or halogen, as long as they're not used when not meant to you should be cool.

Youll get into trouble if they are amber for sure. Just get white LED's for your foggies, tis all ya need and wont be illegal to use...i think

white light in heavy rain and fog is next to useless... Get some yellow <4300K lights

^correct, but depends what you use it for. If you want it for looks then yeah go white but for weather conditions definately go yellow

Yellow foggies look better anyway.
Like the above, pointless in having white light foggies. It can even blind ppl at night sometimes!

Yellow foggies are around 3000K, 4300K is white with just a lil tinge of yellow
