getting new tyres for my type s as the tread is hitting reall low. any suggestions on brands? and price ranges? thanks

we need to know your price range, but as everyone will suggest, dont cheap out on tyres.

dunlop direzza Z1 star spec.... wouldnt use another tire .. bridgestone re001 isnt that great nowadays.

You'll be struggling for good tyres for $400 max. Try $500-600 mate, get something really good.

^ Lol what are you gonna get for under 100 per corner?
For a little more you can get some Kumho KU31's and a little more you have KU36's (good value and wear) even consider the Cheaper Dunlops of Falken 452's. Anything else you'd be looking at 1K plus for a set!

Some friends have told me that Federal 595-SS are decent for their price. For a type s (215/45/17) it costs around $120ish per corner. I personally haven't had any experience with them, so maybe someone here can chime in

i went from re001 to dunlop Z1 star spec mate.. while the dollar is good get the Z1's from the US @ tirerack.com got 4x 215/45/17 for $850 delivered.. The Z1's are awesome got quoted over $400ea in australia
