In Oz what engines did these come with?
I know one is a 1.6 DOHC VTEC
And was there a DOHC non vtec or is that already only SOHC?

ANd how quick is each one of the cars? 400m?

96-98 VTI = D16y8 (SOHC VTEC) 96kw
99-00 GLI = D16Y4 (SOHC NON-VTEC) 88kw
99-00 VTIR = B16a (DOHC VTEC) 118 kw

no DOHC NON-VTEC engines in the EK series including hatches.
ill take a guess with the quater mile times.
Gli -high 16s VTI mid 16s and VTIR mid 15s
those are just guesses

96 - 98 Vti = D16y8 (SOHC VTEC) 93Kw
99 - 00 Gli = D16y4 (SOHC) 77Kw
99 - 00 Vti-R = B16a2 (DOHC VTEC) 118 Kw

*Note the D16y4 in the Coupe is slightly detuned version compared to the D16y4 available in the Gli and Cxi EK Hatch.*

*Note there is also no such thing as an EK coupe. 96-98 Vti Coupe is known as a EJ8, while the 99 - 00 Vti-R is known as an EM1*

*There is no such thing as a DOHC NON-VTEC in any coupe! The only DOHC - NON VTEC engine found in a Civic is the D16a8 which is found in the EG Civic Si*

Quarter Mile Times: Estimates*

96 - 98 Vti = 16.8 to 17.2 Seconds
99 - 00 Gli = 17.5+ Seconds
99 - 00 Vti-r = 15.5 - 16.2 Seconds.

*Note With simple bolt on Modifications, Some weight Reduction, and some nutter driving can see these times dramatically reduced.

PM me for more info

More emphasis on the 'nutter' part :p.
