yeah konis.. or even big name coilovers, but i think your 50/50 comment is abit much... but obiously your going to be taking corners hard either way so get konis

I had koni yellow + kings on the mirage (see avatar pic) and they were brilliant. Not too hard for a daily driver (but your GF will notice lol). It seems like the koni are well suited to our roads.

Just a question, every always reccomends koni yellows. How much a set of these babies? Lets say for an EK Civic

if u get koni yellows, don't get eibach pro kit springs...they r too soft. trust me, i have them! at least get the sportlines or i've even heard u can fit tein springs for pretty much the same price.

otherwise, if ard $1800 is ur price range, get the tein hr's that some r sellin on these forums. they r definitely towards the stiffer side but aren't too uncomfortable since u can set them towards the softer settings. the standard spring rates are like 8kg/mm front and 6kg/mm rear which r pretty good. what's more, u can set the heights exactly the way u want ur car to sit as konis only have 2 settings front and 3 setting rear.

Can't you just adjusted the dampering on the koni yellows to stiffen you ride anyways?

I think he means even if the Konis are on the firmest setting, the ride is still not that firm because of the springs.

Well having firm damper settings on soft springs is a waste of time anyway. You need to have damper rates matched to your spring rates.
