hey guys just wondering do people usually put the wider wheels at the back? or front? on civics (EM1).
wheels specs are 16x7 +32, 16x8+32.
thanks

FWD have wider wheels on the front, for more traction I guess

RWD have wider wheels on the rears, and smaller on the front - some call it launch position

All good,

it's good to have larger wheels/tyres on front to reduce understeer too. For FWD that is

good luck,

having staggered wheels on a daily isnt best idea, as u want all 4 tires to wear out evenly, so when it comes to rotating tires, it will become a problem.... if u dont mind it, than id highly suggest get wider an more aggressive sets at the rear, fill out em guards than the fronts, more so for looks... If u want to fill out the rears with the same offset all around get spacers on the rear, so it pushes the rear to align with the fronts

Spacers are for the most part, illegal and dangerous. Unless your talking about bolt-on hubcentric spacers and/or longer wheel studs then thats a different story. For the record, I run staggered on my fwd with wider at the front and narrow on the rears with the same sized tyre all 'round so no issues with rotation.
