vtir head on type r block

hi guys does anyone know if a vtir b18c2 head will fit directly on a a type r block b18c7 (can get one cheap) also would anyone recommed doing this?

this would be for my second integra, just a daily.

Pretty much yes, but I would only recommend it if you have nothing else available.

I was referring to the C2 head. Actually not sure if the OP is talking about having cheap access to C2 head or C7 block...

Will fit but the VTI R head doesn't match up to the R inlet manifold, would need some modifications and a C7 block would be better than a standard unmodified B20 in my humble opinion.
