I seem to feel every bump and hole in the road. I have stock DC5 suspension and there is still lots of give. Could it be that the suspension is not soft enough or just the wheels?

Cheers

what wheels ? 16s or 17s or 18s ? Larger rims have thinner profiles and you will feel more of the road and thus the bumps etc

They're just stock 16"s, does tire pressure have anything to do with it?

Yes.

Are they over inflated?

47 or 48 is way over board. I'd usually go around 36psi in the winter and 32psi when the weather starts to get hot. i still think 38 is a bit too much, but thats just my opinion.

yeh thats too high mate... i seem to find of late a lot of people doing this though... mostly due to press regarding the increased fuel efficiency resulting from less drag...

the question i would ask is if the 47-48 you are putting in is measured when the tyres are cold or warm? remember,m if thats a cold measurement, when warm your tyres are probably going to hover around or go over the maximum PSI ated for your tyre...

i usually got 32 for summer and 35 in winter...
