Hi all

Just a quick post for those who like statistics......i found a summary of the total number of DC2/DC4 Integra sales from 1995.......!!! This is VFACTS information - so is the actual # of vehicles registered in each year!

Unfortunately it doesnt show any pre 1995 stats - but its still interesting reading!!

Just confirmed that these stats are for the whole of Australia!

Some points about the above info:

* The DC2/DC4's were replaced in 2001 by the current shape. These stats are just for the previous model
* VTI-R was replaced by Type R - thats why sales drop off so dramatically in the later years.
* The data is sourced from VFACTS which is the industry body that collects registration data from manufacturers. So it is rather accurate!

in late 2001 the dc5 already came out which is why sales went down in 2002...im guessing?

Wat is DC4?
I always thought the 94-2001 integs were just DC2....
Can anybody explain?
Is it just because the next one up is DC5 or something?

DC4 is the gsi version...

does this count used car sales - i.e transfer of ownership... or just new car sales... cause i'm amazed that u can get a 2002 'new' dc2 Type R :D

good question.....ive discovered that VFACTS sales are just for newly registered vehicles ie 1st ownership. The 2002 sales of DC2 Type R are obviously the last of the DC2 cars in dealer stock which were then registered in 2002!
