I have bought my Kaixen HID kit from one of the trader here named: Kaixen xenon,
the kit is a good one, but prior the installation, i have a few questions after reading its installation manual, and wish for those who have this kit, and experienced in installing the kit would help me:
1) the manual mentioned to drill a hole on the lamp housing, what does that mean? i thought it is a plug and play, and do i have to drill?
2) the manual mentioned to wipe the head lamp with a clean cloth, does it refer to the HID bulb itself? so, is it OK to wipe the HID bulb? coz i heard from people saying that NEVER touch the HID bulb with hands, so, if i have to wipe it with cloth, is it a normal cotton cloth will also be good?
Thanks a lot for the help, and wishing to get my HID installed asap. :D

1) the hole is drilled through any bulb covers to thread the wires through and you use the supplied rubber grommet to seal it up.
2) if you have not yet touched the bulbs with your fingers, then it is not necessary to clean them unless you can see something on it, use a lint-free cloth

So, do I have to drill a hole?
Or can simply plug in the whole bulb provided by Kaixen?
I want to make sure everything before I approach to take out the fender. :)

Now why would you take out the fender in the first place?

You can do a professional install with all wires tucked and only need to remove the front bumper. If you don't want to drill a hole that's fine.

i dont want to remove the front bumper as i am afraid i will damage it, and i got the frog light there too.
i just follow the civic manual to replace the bulb by removing the fender.
and for the hole, it's not my choice to choose whether or not to drill a hole, but i am only not sure if i HAVE to do that as the installation manual said so. BUT people said there is no need to drill, so, i am confused.

hahahahahahha! he's not lying though, you ask the funniest questions.

Anyway, congrats on getting your kit finally.

- Looked at DIY's yet? It's very easy. Have you ever changed a bulb in your house? It's quite literally the same, just make sure you don't touch the bulb.

- You don't need to drill holes. You just don't.

- the plugs won't fit the old bulb harness perfectly, you'll need to bend or 'adjust' those little metal contacts slightly to make it fit. Make sure you can still 'click' the plugs together or it won't be secure. You'll know wha ti'm talking about when you try it.

- don't take off the front bumper, you can do it through the fender lining (i think that's what you meant earlier) There's also a neat spot for the ballast too. It will look perfectly wire tucked.

lol wtf duffy haha...

mate easiest way is to take the front bumper off.. gives you enough space to easily tuck all the wires. if ur not retard, u can do it through the fender but you seem =\ so maybe you should just pay someone to do it?

goodluck anyway

chichichibo you're a disgrace to the decent people on OzHonda.

You come on the forum with absolutely no knowledge of your car, and with no passion to learn, only to ask empty questions and make ten ****ing threads on each problem you have with your car.

You have not provided one bit of useful information to this community, nor do you listen to any of the helpful feedback that it's users give you.

I've come to the conclusion, and I'm sure I'm not alone, that you are a few fries short of a happy meal, a few sandwiches short of a picnic basket (if you prefer).

Your comeback to my insult to you earlier was to repeat the same thing back to me, how ingenious..

So how about you sit down on your hands and think about what you say next (whether it's a reply to this or just another useless question) before you make yourself look even less competent.
