Hi

I started having issues with my 1993 dc4 integra about two months ago the engine light light flashed up and started spluttering when i turned it on and huntering when it idled (terms a mate called it), I took it down to the local Honda dealer and mechanics. I asked them to run a full diagnostics on it to see what was wrong. They told me the throttle cable was set to high apparently which it was set at 800rpm on idle, they adjusted it back to 500rpm on idle and it got rid of the issue. Well so i thought, i went away for a few weeks and when i got back yay for me the issue was back. After replacing the spark plugs leads oil filter oil and fuel filter cause it was about time for it to be done anyways the issue remained. It has been driving me nuts until today.

I found the guide on ecu diagnostics guide written by bennjamin, Who is my new hero, cause a paper clip has now shown me what the issues are.

9 - Cylinder sensor
10 - Intake air temp sensor
14 - Idle air control sensor

Just wondering if anyone knows roughly what prices i would be looking at to have them fixed and maybe even a good mechanic to go to in Townsville for Hondas? I am yet to find the later and as for the prices i just don't want to get robbed blind like i have in the past from mechanics in Townsville. Or is it even possible to do it myself?

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated as i just want to get my baby back on the road.
