S2K coolant flush

Hi all,

I'm planning to give my S a coolant flush this weekend. Does anyone know how much coolant does it take?

I used about 1 half bottle of oem honda coolant. I think its 5 litre per bottle.

Thanks mate. I got 1 5L and 2 1L from Honda last week as i thought it took 6.5L. Looks like I need to get another 1L then.

if you flush properly I'm fairly sure it does take around 6.5L

thanks euromandeluxe. I'll give it a go this weekend with what i got atm (7L). My mate is coming over to help and he's an experienced mechanic so hopefully we would do it properly :-)

Don't forget to unscrew the drain bolt on the engine block & loosen the air bleed bolt. I found mine near the engine, but in the manual it said otherwise... Also, if you want to clean out your resevior, put a bit of rice and water to clean out the grime before refilling :)
