i gotta 97 accord and the central locking locks but after it locks you hear it clicking for like 15 times then it stops

i had that on mine then after a while it would only lock every now and then mine was because it was misffiring (the relay was firing to replace that would be 120).. to get a honda kit it would cost4-800 so i justgot an after market central locking kit for 100 and works fine now

the problem when they do this is the lock position switch in the door lock actuator, its contacts have become worn and it causes the problem. only adding a $15 non gen door lock motor with internal switch will fix it. or you have to repolace the door lock actuator.

do you jus have to replace the drivers side or all four of them because all four make a sound but the drivers side lock is jus lower than all the others

do u know how much roughly a mechanic will charge or will i have to bring it to a auto electrician

any futher updates on this thread - my dad's car has the same problem

get an auto electrician to have a look at the central locking relay box and also the drivers door motor, one of the two are faulty.

no easy fix over the forum, you have to dish out some cash to resolve your issues.
