b18c knock sensor problem

hey guys,

my b18c keeps throwing CEL 23 which is knock sensor

how do i fix this problem?

It's broken. Get a new one, I got mine from Adrian at Toda.

It's a 5 minute job -Jack up your car, remove the oil filter and find the longest socket you can (cannot remember which size exactly). Remove the old sensor and screw the new one into the block. Remove oil filter, top up your oil and then reset your ECU. Problem solved!

Also, don't put anything other than BP Ultimate/Shell Premium etc into your car, just to prevent any possible knocking.

Just be careful when you do it and make sure your exhaust is not hot other wise you will burn yourself, you have to put your arm up past where your oil filter is, which is right next to the end of your headers.
