Vehicle Service - Darwin

Hey guys, I own an Accord Euro 2006 with 42,000kms. Its due for a 80,000kms service. I've been getting it serviced through Darwin Honda but I'm getting sick of their ridiculously high prices.
They want $800+ for the service. Does this seem right?
Does anyone know a decent mechanic in Darwin?

try a non-honda service place... Since your car is out of warranty.
Just make sure they use good quality oil, eg: most Ultratunes use Castrol, so ask them to use castrol Sport instead of GTX or Magnetec.

PS: if the car is out of warranty, i wouldnt bother going to honda for any minor service, as long as the service place use Honda Brake/Steering/Auto transmission fluids, you be fine.

Darwin Honda suck the fat one. I've never serviced my car there, they wanted $400 for minor service on my car. That's just an oil change. No filter, nothing else, just oil.

I know the blokes at kmart cas, they are awesome, and more importantly, cheap price. You can use what ever oil you want too, which is nice. They change the oil filter every change too. I think my last service was $230 for the 60k service with castrol edge 5w30.

There's a mechanic at the Repco Service Centre in Charlton Crt, Woolner who is apparently good. I have never used him but some of my cousins do. I don't know what the prices are like.

The Repco Authorised guy in Woolner is Paul McCourt and he is really good. Not cheap, but definatley not a ripp off either. Family business that he runs with his wife Tina.
