Hi guys,
sorry if this topic has been recovered before, i have used the search option, found a few treads that relates to this but still havent found my answer..
My EK VTi has cvt gearbox.. A few days ago, the reverse decided to fark up on me.. so i got a few quotes to get it fixed and etc.. best quote i got was $1850.. second hand gearbox with 12months warranty on parts and labour.. I thought that was abit pricey..so i was wondering if the normal 4speed auto gearbox will be cheaper? If it is, i would rather get the 4 speed one than the cvt .. But im also wondering if its a plug and play thing? do i need to change my ECU to the 4 speed auto EJ8 one (since my motor is a d16y5 has vtec lol) or i can use my existing ecu?
