What is the easiest way to tune a obd1 p30 ecu? I want to upgrade cams and the only thing that is holding me back is that i have no idea how to tune. Ive heard of software such as hondata neptune crome and then theres a bunch of aftermarket ecus. What is the best setup that basically anyone can tune.

You need to go aftermarket ECU such as Hondata s300 or Apexi Power FC to tune the car. Not anyone can tune. It comes down to experience and skill to get the full potential tune.

Will the apexi work on different cars or do u have to buy 1 for the exact model car

The best ecu to self tune is the Hondata s300

Sorry no offence but don't try it yourself, buy a standalone ecu and get a pro to tune it. Engine management is not something you want to mess with if you have no idea what your doing.

i would find a tunner first, then ask them what ecu they would like you to use
then go from there
its not the ecu but its the tunner that makes it
