Hey guys,

I have some problem with the Final Drive
MF-TRS-02B49C 4.92 For Cable box b16

It seems that it doesnt fit into the diff with out some machining to the the diff, according to my mech.

Does any one have the same problem before?
please let me know

Thanks
Chris

ok here is what we have:
-fitting Mfactory plate diff with Mfactory 4.9 FD
-MFactory diff is bolted to final drive ring gear from the other side vs the oem diff.
-so, the 1st gear on counter shaft is hitting the diff/ring-gear bolts head, even with casing on and C-clips snapped into the counter shaft bearing's groove "to lift the counter shaft up" like it would be fully assembled.
-already make sure diff or diff-bearing is sitting flush on the clucth side of the housing also.
-tried turn/flip the ring gear over and obviously is wrong as diff/ring gear assembly protrude too much out and casing wont fit that way.
-pretty sure the shim/spacer between FD gear and 1st gear on the counter-shaft is in during assembly.

Mfactory is a direct replacement item ( for the correct application) so it mounts exactly the same as the oem final drive.
Im guessing the issue is you have a hydraulic gearbox part which may possibly be different in dimensions to your cable box ?!

Pm e240 on this forum - he works directly with mfactory and can provide the best answer

Problem solved.

My box is one of the odd boxes that MFactory has encounter

Abit of modifications is needed.
