hey guys

got a 4cm slice on my roof dont know what from... =/

just wondering what i should do about it.

stitch it up?

or what i dunno.


so lost.

stitch and gaffer tape the inside, save up for a new one as its probably on its way out.

stitch it and maybe stick some marine vinyl on it...

here was my old one:

then 2 hours work gave me this:

Should have continued the upholstry till it hit the other side.. LOL then it would look factory..

I got a new AP2 roof.... that's how i made it look factory.

i got a ap2 roof. rofl.

actually i just got it. and yeh. had an argument with the misses and ahemm... didn't end up so well for my roof.

i stitched it up and used black silicon on the the inside incase it doesnt leak :)

well i went to ians car upholstery in fairfield hieghts. he patched it up for free.

recommended that i dont ever stitch on a roof unless the whole roof is taken off and put onto the sewing machine. hand stitching it would only make it worse.(due to the inconsistant holes that it makes between the stitching)

just a useful fact i thought you guys might want to know aswell.
