connecting alarm to indicators

I need to know where to connect the indicator flasher wires on my dads Mazda 1999 GF 626 (yes not a honda lol), does it need to connect to the hazard switch or the indicator relay? Is there a way i can use a multimeter to figure out which wire it is? Thanks

i presume its the two brown wires (one for left side and one for the right side).

I would connect it to where it will draw the least load on the alarm.

probably before the relay as a signal only, not a power source.
