View Full Version : red turn signal = defect ?

hey ozhonders,

i was going to purchase a pair of usdm tail lights for my dc2. now these have the red blinkers instead of amber/white like the other dc2 tail lights. is it illegal to have red blinkers in australia ?? will i get defected for something like that ? can i just get your thoughts/comments on this :)

well it depends - i have USDM rear lights on my EG sedan

on the AUSDM ones the bulb was white and the lens was amber - on the USDM ones the lens is clear - so i changed the bulb to amber and PRESTO

as MWAKU said. Defect 4 sure. Must be amber

either amber lens with clear bulb or amber bulb with clear lens - either way when it flash's it must be amber
