have you guys heard abt the single din dvd player pioneer AVHP5250BT?
cos im thinking abt getting it..
would it be able to play mp4 format like tv downloaded tv series and anime..?

also, my friend said that the screen wont play movies while im driving and that it plays when the car is not in gear

hello

i work at a car audio retailer and love the pioneer avhp series and personally own 1 myself. it plays mp4 movies off the ipod or iphone with the included ipod control cable which comes supplied with the unit. it will also play avi files off the usb and sd card slot (havent tried mp4 on a usb)

with the video being displayed, the proper way is to connect the green ground cable to the hand break so video can only be displayed when hand break is engaged. (has nothing to do with what gear the car is in)
but you can bypass that and just ground that cable to the chassis

i didnt get it.. so i decided to the get the lower model for 50% off.. hahaha (Pioneer AVH-P5250BT 7”)

didnt know usb cld play avi files..
