Anyone have any experience to tune or dyno run at APC in Brisbane?

me and my friends are always have big numbers at APC..

any one tuned or dyno their Honda at APC? especially Civic Vti-R and integra type R

Can we share the numbers or even share the dyno graph?

I am doing this becoz different dyno has different numbers so i wanna compare it with different cars on the same dyno and see if the number i got is right.

just to make sure i won't just happy with the number and got kicked by a standard civic vtir.

I always use Nick's at APC Dyno when im in QLD ... i was talking to him last week and he's got a brand new dyno now jsut installed and a new dyno room.. the best setup now in Qld !! i'm going to be up there late feb 2005 tuning cars with him...so come say hi !. As for APC knowning Honda's they are very very good !! they built the 1st 10second honda in aust, they have great NA and Turbo knowldge !! in QLD Apc Rocks !

yes they do know honda, what sort of car do u have? i can't tell u how much , it really depends on what ecu u are going to tune it with.

try and do a dyno run there and see what u got.. ^^ thx !

I hope you got more than 104kwatw So what's the reputations of APC? For me, i don't have good experiences on my DC2, R32 and R33, my fd's Celica, GTT, Silvia S13. S14, DC2R and EVOIII

And they trying sell me fake Blitz Filter for $200 and they couldn't give me any prove of identifications, bad labour work on fitting suspension compenents, and i've seen that they blown up a WRX engine during dyno, YES!!! i saw it!!! they #)^(*()^*)#*)(@ for 10 mins and trying to fix it

Yes it is right i've got good dyno numbers on all of my cars and also my fd's. But i rather look for reliabilities........

anyway anyone heard of "Sub-zero"? It's in Gold Coast. It's closed down cos of some reasons though....

Yeah!! I bought fake blitz air filter from apc 3 years ago. I tuned power fc with toda A cam from them one years ago. They tuned with too much timing. I got knocking unit around 60-85 ( below 45 is good, more than 60 is danganous). But I tuned again from them with Toda B cam few days ago, they tuned very well. The knocking unit is below 45 all the way. I think they change the style to tune up honda's car. Maybe they got many experiences last year.

So you got 104.1kw atw in mercury in aug, and u used to have 94.6 at apc in march. I went to the redline.au by just clicking at your link.

did u do anything between march and aug? what have u done to make 10kw difference? or it was just different dyno came up with different numbers? in apc they used 4th gear and Mercury they were using 3rd gear.

will that make a differents ? i have no idea. 3rd gear or 4th gear make better power.

i will try and post up my dyno tonite..

So anyone plz post their dyno if you dun mind to share ! Thx !

ATSEK4.. 94.6kw @ APC was dyno of my civic when it was stock, however I upgraded intake and exhaust before dyno'ing at Mercury. We did a 4th gear dyno run at Mercury and only got 1kw less.

sorry, 1kw less was comparing with APC? i am confused..
so the 104.1kw in mercury was did it with 4th gear?
so after intake and exhaust u gainned 10 kw ? is that what you mean?

No.. 1kw less in 4th gear than in 3rd gear.

Yes.. 10kw from those mods.

You should always do your power run in your 1:1 ratio gear (or the closest to that), gives the most honest power and torque figures...

Ill run a dyno day for ya in Brisbane ! no probs there !! all depends on numbers at the end of the day..... ill be up in bris on the 23rd to the 28th.

Brisbane is laidback and lazy. Build it and they will come. Do you normally travel with adyno do you? well if you can get some information together and then organise it then i can post up a thread (or you can) and see how much interest you get.
