Hey guys, been looking online for Tein S Tech lowering springs for my 2003 GD3 but I'm coming up with 2 part numbers, not sure which one is right if you have ordered them before maybe you can shed light.

SKA04-AVB00 01-07 GD3 (can't seem to find these from US sellers on eBay)

SKB36-AUB00 07-08 GD3 (this is the part number which is available from US seller on eBay)

I didn't think there was a difference in the GD3 chasis/suspension set up?

Ok so after speaking to the seller in US ive discovered this much..

Part number SKA04-AVB00 this is for a Honda Jazz GD3 01-07

Part numbet SKB36-AUB00 this is for a Honda Fit GD3 07-08, am i correct to assume that the Honda fit was never released in US until 2007 hence 07-08?

Is there any difference between the two cars considering they are both GD3 chassis? And why would there be different part numbers for same car with different name in different country?

Second one I highlighted for you are not for your model Honda Jazz, they are the new Honda Jazz/Fit 2007 to 2008

So like in my previous post I gave you this part number, which is an Honda Jazz/Fit for 2001 to 2007.
HONDA JAZZ 02-07 GD3 SKA04-AVB00

Meaning the 2001 to 2007 Honda Fit/Jazz will not fit 2007 to 2008 Honda Fit/Jazz
SKB36-AUB00

You stated yours was an 03 Honda Jazz, however the 01-07 Honda Fit will also share the same suspension as the 01-07 Honda Jazz.

Meaning its pure common sense,

to work out your answer.

Good luck,

Good luck,

Hmmm I called Tein and they said it was the same springs because the US 07-08 GD3 Honda fit is the same as a 01-07 GD3 Honda jazz in AU. Theres different part numbers as not to confuse owners in different countries. As the GD3 was only available between 07-08 in US b4 Honda started selling the GE new model fit/jazz.

See If they said springs were for a GE Honda fit/jazz then I'd be sure they wouldn't fit. Thx for the brain storm anyway.

sorry to bring this back from the grave.
BUT

the 07-08 springs are for USDM models as thats when they got the jazz.

01-07 is for the rest of the world that got the GD Jazz when it came out (ie Au, Jap, Thai, etc)
so yes both will fit, but they are aimed at different markets, a USDM and the rest of the world.

I dunno, that's just off Tein JP so might be different to the US site I guess?

Shouldn't be though :S
