Hey guys,
Of the millions of threads i found about this on CI, TI etc... they don't seem to help! I took the spoiler off but was unable to disconnect the brake light cable so i had to put it back on. All the threads i read through are pictureless, which is kind of what i need.
Also the rubber grommets to fill in the holes are what size? I've read of many many different sizes being used... i was thinking of bunnings or supercheapauto?
And legally you need to have 3 brake lights yeah? so de-winging i'd have to fix the one in my windscreen. Once again... the threads aren't very helpful =/
thanks for any help. links to picture filled DIYs would be appreciated

is your car a stock colour? browse for sale threads and call around wreckers and see if they have a bootlid without wing in your colour. :)

Alright i took the wing off before and just ripped the bloody cable straight out of the hole... hope i didnt break anything.
I need to fix my windscreen brake light soon as legally i need a centre light. I opened up the panel behind the light and there's no cable feeding into it from the boot. I dunno how to open the bootlid interior panel, searched up and down but no luck. Also tried prying around the edges but just ended up scratching shit. Any help would be much appreciated!
Can i get some opinions on the spoiler delete? I know the plugs look dodgy and possibly will get stolen by some passerby who thinks its funny to steal my $10 grommets!

Good on you for DIY'ing. Give the bootlid a good clean & stiff polish to try and remove those marks from where the spoiler used to be. Looks better IMO.

You finally did it! Easy, huh. Apart from having to yank that cable so hard. The grommets look fine. Get rid of the rear wiper, though, and it'll look clean.
I can't manage to connect the centre light either, as mine also has no cable. I figure I'll just get it done at my next service.
